Bobby's is one of the biggest growing brands in confectionery and offers a range of snack, cake and drink products.
We are looking to recruit a new member of our regional management team to join our successful sales team to oversee our Newton Aycliffe and Pontefract depots. These depots cover the north east regions of the UK covering from Northumberland down to North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
As the Regional Manager you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of both depots, leading a team of van sales and development individuals, ensuring a first-class service to retailers, this will be measured against sales growth targets and other key-performance indicators. This role is responsible for implementing new development initiatives designed to generate continued growth in the region. Equally you will be responsible for the operational management of both depots to uphold warehouse standards, fleet management and workplace safety for our teams

Your typical working day will include:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership to the team ensuring the development of sales for the region. Monitoring and managing sales and reporting on this.
• Ensuring consistent coverage of the region and continued excellence in customer service levels.
• Manage all key and group accounts ensuring all terms of supply are achieved, working with the national sales team to ensure continued service.
• Work with the sales teams to ensure individual targets are set and achieved.
• Work to improve all KPI’s across the depots, linked to both sales (eg. Spend, Returns, Distribution) but also operational KPI’s eg. Health & Safety metrics.
• Lead in the management of the depots by having regular conversations and reviews with all team members and continue to build and recruit future talent to the business.
• Work with the Depot Co-ordinator and other depot team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all depot functions, including accounts, banking, administration, warehouse, stock control, transport, health and safety.
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with the Company’s health and safety policies

Ideal Candidate:

The right person will be able to demonstrate exceptional people management skills within a sales setting, have strong sales experiences and the capability to get the best from others, have strong communication skills and be competent in using Microsoft Office functions (experience using Excel is paramount). Experience of working with convenience customers or having previously worked within a convenience management role would be beneficial but not necessary. You will be a natural leader and thrive on the buzz of achieving sales along with having a natural flare for increasing and developing new customers/sales.
